Chris Cooper (born December 27, 1977 in Lincoln, Nebraska) is an American football defensive lineman who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska-Omaha.
Cooper has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, and California Redwoods.

He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round (184th overall) in the 2001 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2004. The San Francisco 49ers signed him in the 2004 offseason. After a brief stint with the Seattle Seahawks, Cooper signed with the Arizona Cardinals. He was released on February 21, 2008 by the Cardinals. The Seattle Seahawks re-signed Cooper to a one year deal for the 2008 season. The Raiders signed Cooper on April 6, 2010. The Raiders released Cooper on September 4, 2010.
His name and those of several of his Oakland Raiders team members were found on the list of clients of the Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative that had given performance-enhancing drugs to Marion Jones and others.
